CROP Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how CROP, provided by Vela Studio ("Vela Studio," "we," "us," or "our"), handles information when you use the CROP mobile application.

CROP is designed to help users create, edit, and preserve photos related to their fitness journey.

We respect your privacy and aim to collect and process only the information necessary to provide and maintain the app.

2. Information CROP Accesses

Depending on the features you choose to use, CROP may access or process:

• Photos selected from your photo library
• Photos captured using your device camera
• Workout names or fitness-related text entered by you
• Dates and day labels associated with your records
• Location names manually entered by you
• Fitness journey themes or goals
• Dates on which you successfully export a CROP image
• Subscription and purchase information related to CROP PRO
• Technical information needed for subscription management
• Information you voluntarily provide when contacting support

3. Photos and Camera

CROP allows you to take a photo or choose an existing photo from your library.

Camera access is requested only when you choose to take a photo. Photo library access is used only when you choose to select or save a photo, depending on the permissions required by iOS.

CROP does not access your photo library without your permission.

Photos used in CROP are intended to be processed on your device and are not sent to RevenueCat for subscription management.

CROP does not sell your photos and does not use your photos for advertising.

4. Information Stored on Your Device

CROP may store information locally on your device, including:

• Gallery photos
• Workout names and categories
• Dates
• Manually entered location names
• Fitness journey themes or goals
• Training-day history
• User-created workout items
• App preferences

Locally stored data may remain on your device until you delete it, delete the app, or the operating system removes associated app data.

Deleting CROP may result in loss of locally stored CROP data.

5. Location Information

CROP may allow you to manually enter a location name associated with a fitness memory, such as GYM, TOKYO, HOME, or PARK.

Manually entered location information is treated as user-provided text.

CROP does not continuously track your physical location.

6. Fitness Information

CROP may allow you to enter fitness-related information such as workout names, fitness journey themes, goals, and training records.

CROP is not a medical service and does not diagnose medical conditions or provide medical advice.

7. Month and Training-Day Information

CROP may record the calendar date on which you successfully export an image.

This may be used to display the number of unique training days recorded during the current month.

Multiple exports performed on the same calendar day may be counted as one training day.

8. CROP PRO, Subscriptions, and Purchases

CROP offers an optional paid subscription called CROP PRO.

CROP PRO subscriptions are purchased through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Apple processes the financial transaction.

Vela Studio does not directly receive or store your full credit card number, payment card security code, or other full payment card details.

Subscription status is used to determine whether CROP PRO features should be available.

9. RevenueCat

CROP uses RevenueCat to help manage CROP PRO subscriptions, purchase validation, entitlement status, and purchase restoration.

RevenueCat may process information such as:

• Subscription status
• Purchase and transaction information
• Apple transaction or receipt-related information
• Product identifiers
• An anonymous or RevenueCat-generated application user identifier
• Device and platform-related technical information
• Service interaction information required for subscription functionality

RevenueCat does not replace Apple as the payment processor.

CROP does not send your Gallery photos to RevenueCat for subscription management.

10. Support Communications

If you contact Vela Studio for support, you may voluntarily provide:

• Your email address
• Message content
• Screenshots or attachments you choose to send
• App version
• iOS version
• Device information

This information may be used to respond to your request, investigate technical problems, and provide customer support.

11. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect

Subject to the current implementation of CROP, Vela Studio does not intentionally collect:

• Precise GPS location
• Contacts
• Biometric information
• Passwords
• Full payment card details
• Browsing history
• Search history
• Advertising identifiers for behavioral advertising

12. Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

CROP does not sell personal information for advertising purposes.

CROP is not intended to track users across third-party apps or websites for targeted advertising.

13. How We Use Information

Information handled through CROP may be used to:

• Provide photo editing and Gallery features
• Display your fitness journey
• Store preferences and user-created content
• Manage CROP PRO subscriptions
• Restore eligible purchases
• Maintain app functionality
• Respond to support requests
• Diagnose technical problems
• Protect the integrity and security of the service
• Comply with applicable legal requirements

14. Data Sharing

Vela Studio does not sell your personal information.

Information may be shared where reasonably necessary with:

• Apple, for App Store distribution and In-App Purchases
• RevenueCat, for subscription and entitlement management
• Service providers actually used by CROP
• Authorities where required by applicable law or valid legal process

15. Data Retention

Locally stored CROP information may remain on your device until you delete the relevant item, delete app data, uninstall CROP, or the operating system removes it.

Support communications may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to requests, resolve issues, maintain appropriate records, protect against abuse, or comply with legal obligations.

Subscription and transaction information processed by Apple or RevenueCat may be retained according to their respective policies and requirements.

16. Data Deletion

You may delete supported Gallery items and other editable content using controls available within CROP.

To request deletion of personal information held directly by Vela Studio, contact:

Vela Studio may not be able to directly delete information controlled independently by Apple or other third-party providers.

17. Your Privacy Choices

You may change device permissions through the Settings application on your device.

Depending on your device and iOS version, this may include permissions for:

• Camera
• Photos

Disabling a permission may prevent related CROP features from functioning.

18. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information handled by CROP.

However, no application, device, storage method, or network transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

19. Third-Party Services

Apple

Used for App Store distribution, device permissions, In-App Purchases, subscription billing, and platform functionality.

RevenueCat

Used for subscription management, entitlement management, purchase validation, and purchase restoration.

Third-party providers may process information under their own privacy policies and legal obligations.

20. Children's Privacy

CROP is not specifically designed or directed toward children under the minimum age required by applicable law to independently consent to the processing of personal information.

21. International Users and Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide rights relating to personal information, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection.

These rights may vary by jurisdiction and may be subject to legal exceptions.
